- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an oven-safe dish lightly with olive oil.
- In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese with garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the prepared dish.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the base layer.
- Arrange halved cherry tomatoes on top of the mozzarella.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly with golden edges.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the baked dip and garnish with chopped fresh basil.
- Let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving warm with bread or crackers.
Notes
- Avoid overbaking to keep the cheese from becoming rubbery.
- Fresh basil is essential for authentic flavor; dried basil can be used sparingly as a substitute.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to three days but are best enjoyed fresh.
