Description

A visually stunning chocolate milkshake with dramatic midnight-black coloring, featuring rich chocolate ice cream, creamy texture, and decadent toppings. Perfect for Halloween parties, themed events, or when you want an enchanting chocolate treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups chocolate ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk (any type)
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 34 drops black food coloring (gel or liquid)
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish
  • Extra chocolate syrup for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Chill milkshake glass in freezer for at least 5 minutes. Optionally drizzle chocolate syrup inside rim for dramatic effect.
  2. Add 2 cups chocolate ice cream, 1/2 cup milk, 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup, and 3-4 drops black food coloring to blender.
  3. Blend on medium-high speed for 30-45 seconds until thick, creamy, and no streaks remain.
  4. Check consistency – add more milk if too thick or more ice cream if too thin.
  5. Pour carefully into chilled glass using spatula to get every bit.
  6. Top generously with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and additional chocolate syrup drizzle.
  7. Add decorative straw and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use premium chocolate ice cream for best results
  • Gel food coloring works better than liquid for deeper black color
  • Let ice cream soften at room temperature for easier blending
  • For party serving, make mini versions in shot glasses
  • Can be made dairy-free using plant-based ice cream and milk alternatives
  • Best enjoyed immediately but can be stored in freezer for up to 1 hour
