- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup dried blueberries (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients: oats, whole wheat flour, flaxseed, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Add honey, almond butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Fold gently until just mixed.
- Carefully fold in fresh blueberries, avoiding crushing them.
- Transfer mixture to prepared pan, spreading evenly. Sprinkle dried blueberries on top if using.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing into 9-12 bars.
