  • Yield: About 16 candies 1x
  • Diet: Low Lactose

Description

A quick, no-bake confection that combines Cool Whip with instant pudding mix, vanilla, and powdered sugar to create a melt-in-your-mouth, creamy treat that’s perfect for parties, after-school snacks, or satisfying late-night sweet cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-ounce) container of Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) of instant pudding mix (any flavor you prefer)
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar, plus extra for coating
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine thawed Cool Whip and instant pudding mix in a medium or large mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add vanilla extract and gradually incorporate powdered sugar until a soft, slightly stiff dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes, or until firm enough to handle.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a small scoop or tablespoon, portion out small balls of the chilled mixture.
  5. Roll each portion between your hands to form smooth balls and place on the parchment-lined sheet.
  6. Roll each candy in additional powdered sugar for an even coating.
  7. Return to the refrigerator to set for 15-20 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use Cool Whip that is thawed but still cold from the refrigerator.
  • If the mixture is too sticky to roll, chill it longer or dust your hands with powdered sugar.
  • Try different coatings like cocoa powder, finely chopped nuts, or sprinkles.
  • Use silicone molds or mini muffin cups for uniform shapes.
  • Work quickly in humid weather and store candies in the refrigerator to maintain texture.
