Description

A whimsical Halloween dessert drink featuring a creamy vanilla milkshake base topped with adorable marshmallow ghosts. Perfect for spooky celebrations and appealing to both kids and adults.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream
  • Marshmallows (for ghosts)
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Optional: Pre-made marshmallow ghosts
  • Optional: Sprinkles, chocolate sauce, or edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Chill tall glasses in the freezer for 10-15 minutes
  2. In a blender, combine 2 cups vanilla ice cream, 1/2 cup milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Blend until smooth
  3. Pour the blended milkshake into prepared glasses
  4. Top with generous swirls of whipped cream
  5. Create marshmallow ghosts by pressing mini chocolate chips into marshmallows for eyes and adding a mouth
  6. Place marshmallow ghosts on top of the whipped cream
  7. Add final touches with extra mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, or edible glitter
  8. Serve immediately with a wide straw

Notes

  • Best enjoyed immediately while cold and creamy
  • Can substitute dairy milk with coconut, almond, oat, or soy milk
  • For thicker consistency, use less milk; for thinner, add more
  • Marshmallow ghosts can be made several days ahead and stored in airtight container
  • Can customize with different ice cream flavors or add flavor boosters like pumpkin spice
  • For lower sugar version, use sugar-free ice cream and whipped cream
