Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped fresh spinach, softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Mix thoroughly until well-blended.
- Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the spinach mixture onto your prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Gently flatten each mound into an even, circular shape using the back of a spoon. Aim for about ¼-inch thickness for best results.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of each spinach dip mound.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the edges are deep golden and the tops are bubbly.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack for ultimate crispiness.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- If using frozen spinach, thaw and squeeze it thoroughly to remove excess moisture before mixing.
- Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth, lump-free mixing.
- For extra crispy crisps, extend baking time by a few minutes and transfer to a wire rack immediately after removing from the oven.
- Watch closely after the 15-minute mark as cheese can burn quickly.
- For best results, serve promptly while still crispy.
- These crisps can be customized with different cheeses or additional ingredients like bacon, bell peppers, or fresh herbs.
