- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound), thinly sliced
- 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced (approximately 2 tablespoons)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
Instructions
- Season chicken: Season the thinly sliced chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and half of the Italian seasoning.
- Cook chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Add garlic: Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter to the same skillet with the chicken, then add minced garlic. Sauté for 60-90 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
- Prepare tortillas: Lay out the tortillas on a clean, dry surface. If your tortillas are refrigerated, warm them for 10-15 seconds in the microwave between damp paper towels to make them more pliable.
- Assemble wraps: Divide the garlic chicken mixture evenly among the four tortillas, placing it slightly off-center toward the bottom third of each tortilla.
- Add cheese: Sprinkle each wrap with the shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese combination, using about 1/2 cup of cheese per wrap. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
- Fold and wrap: Fold the bottom edge of each tortilla over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to form a secure wrap.
- Toast (optional): For an extra-crispy exterior, place the wrapped tortillas seam-side down in a dry skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese inside melts completely.
- Serve: Cut diagonally and serve immediately.

- Make ahead: Prepare the chicken filling up to 3 days in advance and store in the refrigerator. Assemble wraps just before serving.
- Storage: Store assembled wraps in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Wrap tightly in parchment paper, then aluminum foil.
- Freezing: These wraps freeze well for up to 2 months. Wrap individually in parchment paper and aluminum foil. Reheat from frozen in the microwave for 2 minutes, then crisp in a skillet.
